multiple instances of dvbviewer

Hi,

 

I'm using recording service with the popcornhour.

 

In order to be able to easely choose a channel i'd like to set up three completely independent instances of DVBViewer.

Each installation would handle a separate device (and satellite).

This would (i hope) enable me to have three 'pages' on popcornhour with different channel-lists.

 

Can someone please give some tips how to get three independent installations on one server?

Simple. You just need three PCs with one instance each.

This simple solution is also somewhat costly (in terms of energy consumption and pc (hardware, os) cost. My pc is powerfull enough to handle three instances of DVBViewer. Virtual server an option?

 

Off course, if i could setup different instances of the recording service and be able to limit the number of channels for each instance somehow, that would work as well.
