Ronski Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Hi all, I have ITV HD working in as much as I can watch it, I can even pause it and then continue watching it (Timeshift). But if I record it then I only get sound and no picture when I play it back via DVBViewer. I'm using the ITV HD.ini file from here. I had this problem on my old install of Vista (just reinstalled with TV Pack) and I searched the internet and came up with some different settings for the channel information from here and here. I exported the channel information from my old install of DVBViewer and imported it into my new installation, but it does not work, it's as if it's not receiving a good signal, sometimes the picture breaks up (did this before on occasion) but most the time it just freezes on the previously displayed picture. I don't know what I'm doing when I'm changing those settings, so if someone could enlighten me it may help? Could it be that my dish/LNB/Cable needs upgrading as they are really old and this is affecting the alternative settings? Also I really can't see why I can timeshift ITV HD but not record it, surely timeshift is just recording it? I also read on here that the latest Beta solved this problem, but there's currently no Beta available in the Beta section, I'm using the lastest full version. I should also mention that BBC HD works perfectly and I can watch/timeshift ITV HD perfectly. Quote
CiNcH Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Latest DVBViewer beta supports it: New: Recording of ITV HD: The wrong videodescriptor is automatically adjusted. Quote
Tjod Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 but there's currently no Beta available in the Beta section DVBViewer 3.9.4.99 Beta http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=220392 Or use DVBViewer GE 2.6.1 for recording ITV HD http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=219603 Quote
