fog Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Hi! Got this PC setup: Housing: Antec Fusion V2 430w PSU, Black Motherboard: Asus M3N78-EM, GeForce 8300, DDR2, m-ATX CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9650 Quad Core Memory: Crucial DDR2 BallistiX PC8500 2048MB CL5 Harddrive: Samsung SpinPoint T166 320GB External HDD: WD Passport™ Essential 160GB Black, USB 2.0 Optical: Sony NEC Optiarc DVD±RW burner AD-7200S GFX card 1: Geforce 8300 (onboard VGA) GFX card 2: Asus GeForce 9800GT 1GB "HybridPower" (Setup is Hybrid-SLI with VGA graphic card) LCD TV: Fujitsu Siemens Myrica VQ40-2 Input 1: Logitech Cordless Desktop S 510 Input 2: Logitech Harmony 885 OS is Vista, and using the cyberlink codecs that came with my PowerDVD8 install and the vista EVR. When watching "normal" channels, I experience small stuttering in video and sound approx every 15 seconds. Also have big problems with HD channels....freezes and stutters beyond watchable, and sound is corrupted. Tried the ffdshow, ande the CoreAVC, but problem is even worse than with the cyberlink codec. With my old PC (OS:XP) "normal" TV was working flawlessly, but HD freezed the DVBViewer entirely. Should have "PC-Power" enough now.. scores 5.9 on the Vista benchmark tool... Any ideas / suggestions how to solve this ? Foggy-.. Quote
