COM: DVBViewer.Mute(true) not working

Hi. Just started playing with the DVBViewer COM interface in C#, talking to DVBViewer Pro 3.9.4.0

 

I get DVBViewer object using Marshal.GetActiveObject() and can set volume, change channel etc. no problem.

 

But when I invoke DVBViewer.Mute(true) it doesn't work. The OSD "Audio Mute" graphic appears several seconds later, but the sound is still playing.

 

More info:

• I see something similar (I think - although I don't speak German) here Mute(true) funktioniert nicht
  
• I'm not using AC3 (DirectShow to onboard AC97 and similarly to external USB sound device, same behaviour).
  
• DVBViewer.OSD.SetMute() has exactly the same behaviour.
  
• When in the inconsistent state (OSD says mute, but sound playing) and I hit "m" in DVBViewer, the OSD stays there and the sound becomes muted. Hitting "m" again restores the sound and removes the OSD.
  

Any ideas?

Does it work if you send the command code 25 via SendCommand?

In the BETA 3.9.4.101 Mute(true) should work.

Fix: COM: Mute didn't work as exspected.

In the BETA 3.9.4.101 Mute(true) should work.

Sorry it took me so long - just checked the latest beta (3.9.4.103) and it works great - thanks!
