DrDeejay Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Hi, When making a channel list it makes two folders. The Channels in one folder (which i didnt specify the name for called TELIUS - which is the name of my cable provider) are working, but on the other folder (that i specified the name for when searching for channels) none of the channels is working correctly. Some of them dont show any pictuire and some of them have jerky sound and picture. The channels are not "crypted" so i dont need to have a CI module installed. In folder that DVBViewer generated itself (TELIUS) there is only 8 channels and in the other there is more then 100... Does anyone have a clue why none of the channels in the other folder wont work properly? ------------------ I have a Technisat Cablestar hd 2 (i dont have a CI slot put in because i dont need it). My graphic card is ati radeon 4850 graphic card and mainboard: Gigabyte ep45-ds3 support.zip Quote
DrDeejay Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 Btw i have DVBViewer PRO and not the technisat edition if that is the reason no one wants to help looks like my tv provider is made of two parts TELIUS and UPC...and none of the chans at UPC works although they are not locked (they dont have a key). Is there anyway to improve the sound & picture of the channels that DVBViewer finds automatically? For finding channels i used Kabel QAM 64 (6875 MS/s), Reception type: Cable, Group A. Quote
Moses Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 It seems like you used not a very good transponderlist for your cable company... you could try to find out on what frequencies and with which symbolrate and modulation your cable company transmits the signals.. or you could try to do a scan without setting a transponderlist (so leaving this field empty or set to "none") to try a blind scan (this will take some hours!). Maybe that helps... It's also possible that you suffer reception problems and should investigate them. Quote
