Diego Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 (edited) Hello everybody, I just want to tell you that in DVBV 3.9.4.0 using a Digitalrise (Twinhan) 1041 Mantis + Ci (with twinhan bda driver 1.1.0.400) the new method of tuning doesn't work properly. Infact the tuning is really fast but it seems it tune always the same channels (at the end of the tuning I have a list with the same name of channels). No problem instead with the old method of tuning My dvb card is a Digitalrise (twinhan) 1041 + CI (bdadriver 1.1.0.400); the graphic board is a sapphire Ati hd 3850 AGP 512 MB DDR3, my mainboard is a gigabyte based on nforce 3 ultra chipset socket 939. Lars_MQ Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 you did disable stopstream on tuning with the direct tuning? Quote
Diego Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 (edited) you did disable stopstream on tuning with the direct tuning? Yes it is disabled and here the ini of the channels tuned New_method_of_tuning_on_Twinhan_1041_and_diseq_pos_A_opt_A.rar Edited December 17, 2008 by Diego Quote
Lars_MQ Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 well it's not guarantied that direct tuning does work with every driver/card. I don't have any problems with my Twinhan Mantis S2 card. But I don't use diseqC. Quote
Griga Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 What about scanning with TransEdit 3.2.6 (see members area)? Direct Tuning on is Settings -> Hardware -> Standard Interface off in TransEdit. There is an additional option "Use internal Network Provider filter". Does it make any difference? Quote

Well with transedit 3.2.6 the channels scan is good and it works also with the "Use internal network provider filter" option on or off. Transedit 3.2.6 seems really fast but the scanning under DVBViewer seem faster even if faulty at least on my system. In any way so I can use transedit make the list then import it into DVBViewer, isn't it. By the way will transedit 3.2.6 will be embedded into future DVBViewer version as channels scanning engine? I don't have any problems with my Twinhan Mantis S2 card. But I don't use diseqC. What bdadriver version do you use? I can try how things go with the same driver. Griga Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 By the way will transedit 3.2.6 will be embedded into future DVBViewer version as channels scanning engine? The scanner engine is basically the same. And no, the TransEdit UI will not be integrated into DVBViewer. Quote
