Langton Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Hello everyone! I just bought DVBViewer yesterday, to see if I could finally make my HTPC work with DVB-S. Everything installed just fine, and I can scan for channels and find some 400 video and audio channels, EPG works fine. When I select video channels in DVBViewer I don't get anything; no video, no sound. When I select an audio channel, the sound is just fine. However, if I use the EPG window and choose Send To PVR it actually records, and I can play the resulting MPEG in Windows Media Player just fine! So I'm guessing I have the CI/CAM working...? (I can't select Show CAM in the View menu though, it's greyed out.) My setup is: - NForce 730i - GeForce 9300 (onboard) (All drivers are updated with the latest NVidia) - Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 plus all released updates - PowerDVD 7.3 (bundled with my blu-ray drive) - TechnoTrend Budget S2-3200 with CI and Conax CAM My goal is to get rid of the satbox that came with our Canal Digital/Canal+ subscription (Denmark). Checking the settings in the satbox, I see it's set to use Thor 1° West, I've chosen Thor 2/3 + Intelsat on 1° West from the transponder list. If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd be very grateful! Quote
