Skystar HD2 Problems

Hello. İ have just bought a skystar HD2 TV card a couple days ago.

 

I also serched the web and found out that i should purchase DVBViewer pro. Everyone was suggesting it. so i did.

 

I have installed the card then the programs and then the DVBviever pro.

 

We are not on a motorized system. I am using windows vista ulimate.

 

I live in turkey. We have an apartment shared sat system. We have 2 sats TURKSAT and HOTBIRD. I am having problems with my set up on my PC.

 

i download the channel ini files for both satalites from a good website. I put them in to the two transponder folders (one is in program files one is in program data) I do my serach and the problems start.

 

I am not able to get many channels on hotbird or turksat by RANGE SCAN. If i do a frequency scan i get alot more. For example on hot bird when i scan by frequency (one by one) i can find hundreds of channel on a couple frequencies. But if i scan the range the whole range (about 101 frequencies) brings up only 108 channels. And most of them are repeating channels.

 

Another problem is that on some found channels the screen comes up onnly black but nothing plays on it.

 

Does any body have an ide what may be the problem?
