Cannot understand remote control setup

OK big newbie blush - I cannot figure out how to get the remote to work.

I have a FireDTV with its own remote.

When I go to the Options/Input screen I don't have any tabs and can't see how to edit the remote buttons.

I have the relevant boxes ticked in Inputplugins.
