Selecting Current Device

Hi

 

Newbie 1st post so please be gentle.

 

My set up Vista sp1, DVBViewer 4 [was using various 3.x but upgraded to seet if it solved the issue], Pinnacle 7010 card.

 

The Pinnacle has 4 inputs 2 x dvb-t and 2x dvb-s.

 

Ports are attached as follows

 

1 - dvb-t anntenae

2 - dvb-t not used

3 - monoblock - 19.2 & 13.0

4 - 28.2

 

Port 1 works fine

Port 2 - not used

Port 3 Current Device 7162 BDA DVBS Tuner (3) gets 19.0 only [i assume Diseqc default]

Port 4 Current Device 7162 BDA DVBS Tuner (4) tunes to sky but no picture [another issue I suspect, but I'll work on that later. One problem at a time]

 

Device list has 4 bda devices

 

I can't force it to select "current device 7162 BDA DVBS Tuner (3)" to allow me to swap to the 13.0 lnb.

 

Any ideas?

 

I have gone through diseqc simple a, simple b, pos a/opt a, pos a/opt b etc etc and the current device stays the same. i can't work out what changes it. It seems to select 7162 BDA DVBS Tuner (3) or 7162 BDA DVBS Tuner (4) at random.

 

Funny thing is Vista Media Cetre battered through and found everything 1st time! So I know that the card can do it.

 

Where am I going wrong.
