mrr19121970 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I've noticed that when I disable audio-video, then the filters are not freed. I have cyberlink powerdvd8, and us the directx filters in DVBViewer. However, if I'm recording I disable the AV. When I started PowerDVD and tried to play a (VC1 video) blu-ray it told me that my system didn't meet the minimum requirements to play the disk. I know that h264 blu-ray films can aready be played by DVBViewer (i've not tried mpeg2-hd). I see one of 2 options: DVBViewer could be updated to play VC1 video disabling AV in DVBViewer frees them too Quote
Moses Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 disable AV is not meant to free the filters. If you want the filters to be freed and have no playback you should select "stop graph" instead. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 And if you want no filters at all while recording, use the recording service. Quote
