lighttear Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Hi all, this post to advise that the playing of m2ts/VC-1 blu ray contents is choppy when the graph chain dvbsource filter-> Powerdvd 8 VC1-1 directshow filter is created (DXVA enabled). My video card is an ATI HD3650. When the graph chain Haaly media splitter -> WMVideo dECODER DMO is choosen (deselecting TS/M2TS use with dvbsource filter) ALL is played fine (but without DXVA, obviously). NO problem with the graph chain dvbsource filter-> Powerdvd 8 MPEG2 directshow filter when playing m2ts/MPEG2 blu ray contents. I presume this is an incompatibility between dvbsource 3.1.1 AND hardware decoding (DXVA) performed by Cyberlink VC-1 directshow filter. Hi hope this helps Cheers L. Quote
dvbrewer Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 I found Cyberlink VC-1 decoder unreliable - try MPC HC. Quote
lighttear Posted January 11, 2009 Author Posted January 11, 2009 I found Cyberlink VC-1 decoder unreliable - try MPC HC. Ok thank you, I' am able now to play VC-1 m2ts blu ray film with DXVA and MPC-HC dec. but ONLY if I DESELECT "use dvbsource filter with TS/M2TS". Haaly mediasplitter does the right job instead of dvbsource filter in DVBViewer 4.0. Hope this helps Cheers L. Quote
