I need help with Halii+MPC codec and HD channels

Hi.

 

Please could someone explain me how to get that Haali Media Splitter works with MPC (Media Player Classic) codec, for activate DXVA acceleration in HD channels.

With Mkv files no problem and Halii + MPC play the file with CPU load <10% in DVBViewer. But with HD channels, Haali Splitter isn't activate and MPC + DvbSource show black image and 50-60% CPU load.

I registered MPC codec (MPCVideoDec.ax) and I unchecked TS/M2TS box in Options / Directshow in DVBViewer, however DvbSource still active working with MPC codec. My system: Windows XP Pro SP3, AMD Opteron 180, 2 GB RAM, Ati HD 4350 graphic card..

 

With Cyberlink h.264 PWDVD8 (DXVA checked) + DvbSource CPU load is over (50%).

MPC decoder doesn't work with HD channnels yet, although it does work with recordings. You could set it to your video output B if you wanted to use for that purpose.

I have checked with Cyberlink PDVD v.8 and I get hard acceleration, but only in mkv videos (CPU load <10%, GPU load= 0%) not HD in channels (CPU load>50 %, GPU load >70%).

I checked "DXVA" box in PowerDvd propertis and in codec panel and I have tried all the render modes in DVBViewer 4.0. Is it possible to get DXVA in HD channels with Ciberlynk codec or only works in video files?

To use cyberlink codec try using other VRM mode or the overlay mixer.

I've try all render of my system (render system default, Overlay Mixer, VMR7, VMR9, EVR) but no DXVA in HD channels (yes work with mkv video).
