newsagent Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I purchased DVBViewer yesterday, installed it and everytime it crashes after 3 minutes, even if I have video/sound off. With no warning or error screens. Hauppauge WinTV DVB S2 Vista 32 sp1 ATI 4670 card with the latest drivers. 8.12 I have tried various codec permutations and renderers with no luck. I was using DVBDream and that worked fine but decided to purchase DVBViewer after reading good reports. I am sure it is not the programme but a conflict of some sort but am at a loss to know what it could be. Could someone please help. support.zip Quote
newsagent Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 Anybody got any ideas. Have I provided enough info? Quote
newsagent Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 I've now tried reinstaling the Sat card and reinstalling DVBViewer and now it says I have no hardware installed!! Even though there is no hardware being recognised and therefore no channels to watch the program is still crashing after 3 minutes. How can this be? Will somebody try and help with this problem, I thought this was a support forum. Quote
newsagent Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 Well I have now installed DVBViewer on a new partition with a fresh Vista install and so far so good, I have only installed Core AVC and AC3 Filter codecs. Just using the defaults for mpeg. Just got to try and sort out ITV HD, can't get picture or sound despite changing the PID's to the recommended settings. Quote
