linuxman Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 I have version 4.0 loaded, and am trying to export the Channel List to a csv file. For some reason I have not been able to de-select whatever channel DVBViewer starts up in. I have tried clicking outside the channel editor as per the release notes but have had no success yet. What am I doing wrong to export the whole list? Thanks! Quote
Griga Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Collapse all root entries in order to get some empty space below them and click there. Quote
linuxman Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 Collapse all root entries in order to get some empty space below them and click there. I have all entries collapsed, doesn't appear to be any empty space below the entries. I have clicked on the white space, but it still only exports the channel that it currently is displaying. Quote
Griga Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Ok, try the following: Open channel editor -> select the first root entry -> collapse everything (root still selected) -> click the white space at the bottom (nothing selected) -> export and don't overwrite an existing CSV file. This way it worked here. I suppose it isn't intended to be that tricky, so it must be called a bug. Quote

I don't have a "collapse everything" selection. I only have collapse tree, so that may be the problem. I'll install from scratch and see what happens. Thanks again!! Quote
Griga Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I don't have a "collapse everything" selection. I did it by clicking the tiny [-] buttons of expanded root entries, one after the other. However, "Collapse Tree" in the context menu should do it as well. I'll install from scratch and see what happens. The last resort of desperate users that is expected to cure everything. Well, not really the last... if it doesn't help, re-install Windows. If this doesn't help, buy a new PC. Quote
