a.tomasich Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Ciao, If I configure DVBV with "doesn't tune the last channel on program start..." the possibility to register manually is not available (grey button). Also the possibility to up and down the volume. I aspect that after a choice of a channel it become available... but it's not true. I've tested a channel from DVB-T (aver A800) list and from DVB-S(2) (SS HD2). Can you confirm? A question: how to configure DVBV 4.0.0.0 with the remote TT35 of SS HD2 (pci)? How can I understand if windows recognise correctly the "port" used by the card? How to link this port to DVBV? Andrea Quote
Lars_MQ Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 what's register? If there is no playback, there is no sound to control, so perfectly correct behaviour. And if register mean recording: no channel, no manual recording. There simply is nothing to record. As soon, as you tune a channel, the choices are available. Quote

Sorry my english is not so well and I've wrote too quickly... yes register for me :-) means recording. Again... main window of dvbv... (I don't remeber the right name of the skin I've choose but it has the orange buttons, it's one of the defaults) I'm speaking about the button of manual recording and the two buttons to raise and lower the volume for the current channel These two buttons are normally available, I can record the current channell, and control it's volume. But If I configure DVBV for don't tune the last channel on it's startup... theese three buttons are not available. It can be normal if you don't tune a channel... but they are still not available... if you tune a channel! :-) The only way to have them available it's to choose in dvbv configuration... tune the last channel on startup. I hope now it's more clear my explanation. Andrea Quote
a.tomasich Posted January 15, 2009 Author Posted January 15, 2009 I can also add that if I do a channel search, when it finish... and I tune a channel... these buttons are not available. Another bug.... it seems. Can you test on your side? Andrea Quote
Lars_MQ Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I can not confirm it in any way. All works as it should. Quote
a.tomasich Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 I can not confirm it in any way. All works as it should. Excuse me nut perhaps you haven't read well or I haven't explained well... You have wrote: what's register? If there is no playback, there is no sound to control, so perfectly correct behaviour. And if register mean recording: no channel, no manual recording. There simply is nothing to record. As soon, as you tune a channel, the choices are available. I've wrote that IF I CHOOSE a channel... so I have a channel tuned and I can see it... I must have the manual recording and volume buttons available: they still remain "grey" instead.... And I've discovered that it happen also NOT ONLY when dvbv it's configured for "DO NOT choose the last channel at startup... but also when you finish a channel serach and you come back to the main windows to see a channel: if you tune it and you can see it... the buttons are NOT available. I hope now it's more clear. If you think I'm stupid, you can say it clearly but if not... you can well explain you point of view, your few words are not so understandable Andrea Quote
Moses Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I can't reproduce that.. over here it's just the way it's meant to be. Are you using a skin? (Not an OSD skin) Quote
a.tomasich Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 I can't reproduce that.. over here it's just the way it's meant to be. Are you using a skin? (Not an OSD skin) No skin, only dvbv default. I've tried also with the default osd skin and with osd disabled. But I think it's not here the problem. I discovered the condition to reproduce the problem on another possible and similar bug. The teletext button is not available if you close dvbv (configured with "tune the last channel at startup...") with a channel tuned without teletext capabilities. If you start dvbv just after.. the teletex button is grey and it's right but if you choose another channel with the teletext capabilities it still remain gray, not available. This happen on DVB-T and DVB-S channel indifferently. If you want to see the problem I can give a vnc connection to my installation, just contact me. Andrea Quote
