Stun Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Hi all. I am using DVBServer in Unicast mode with one client. I need somehow to compress traffic from server, because I connect to server through Internet (not local network). Is it possible with some plugins or anything like that? Quote
Tjod Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 If you stream to a DVBViewer Client it is not possible to re-encode the stream. Quote
Gioxy Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 (edited) To recode (and... "compress") the stream to use it over Internet, you can use the DVB Recording Services; but you have to use VLC as client and change channels from a huuuge drop-down list of his web interface (still beta - no favourites ATM ) but it's really worth a try... You can find it in the Member Area, Beta section; more info in the specific tread Edited January 15, 2009 by Gioxy Quote
