Moller Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Dear forum, I have for some time - and on two different pc's - tried to make my DVBViewer work properly. The manual says to attach the setup.ini file and the DVBViewer.log file. Neither of these I can find. During my work with the program I have had an amplifier for my digital cable tv installed. This cured some of my problems. The symptoms are now as follows: When I boot the machine and open DVBViewer, the picture does not come on and sound is garbled - high pitched whining only. If I provoke the program into crashing and restart the program, the program most often works fine until next reboot. A short description of hardware and software: HW Petium E5200, 2.5 ghz 4 GB ram 1 tb harddrive Intel G45 onboard chipset FireDTV c/ci, latest drivers SW Vista Home Premium 32 - all patched up Directx - all patched up DVBViewer ver. 4.0 Ffdshow decoder Cyberlink Powerdvd 8.0 Ulead DVD movie factory 6.0 Please advise how to proceed. Thanks in advance Moller Quote

Moller Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Dear Forum, I am somewhat frustrated having received no reaction whatsoever to my posts in this topic and no support from the DVBViewer staff. If I have broken some rule and thus been transferred to an unofficial ignore list, please have the kindness to let me now the nature of my error, for it was not intentional. In lack of any response I shall soon reach the maximum escalation point and start bothering Mr. Hackbart himself I hope to hear from someone soon. Best regards, Moller Quote
