McenterFreak2 Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 (edited) I realy like this bug to be removed: If I sheduele a recording to happen every day at a fixed time, it works fine But if I start DVBViewer in the recording time, DVBViewer asks something like this "Theres a recodring, do you want to stop it". I answer no, and everything is okay But no! Now the recoring newer happens again, because it is now marked as Disabled! I then need to enable it again Edited January 28, 2009 by McenterFreak2 Quote
Moses Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Do you use the recording service? Is that intentional? If not, you should uninstall the recording service and that won't happen. But you'll have to keep DVBViewer running in order to do you recordings or use task scheduler instead. Quote

I use recording service, and it is intentional, can't live without it (i use the web interface every day). It really would be nice if the developers could solve this little bug in recording service (it have been there in all releases!) I have tried the Task Scheduler (Vista), and it is worse than the bug in Recoring Service, it is very unstable (hard to explain the wife that her favorite episode is not recorded!!!) It is funny that this piece of SW never have matured from Beta Quote
Moses Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 You know that there is a webinterface for the DVBViewer, too? And that's not a bug, that a conceptional problem. There are in fact some conceptional problems, that arise if you run DVBViewer and recording service on the same computer. One shouldn't do that, it's that simple. Quote
