rio9210 Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Hi everybody. With the new version (4.0), finally I can move my Moteck SG2100 with DVBViewer and the last drivers for my Skystar HD2 (Technisat brand), but I have a little problem: let's say I'm viewing a channel on Hotbird, when I select a channel on another satellite, nothing happens: I have to open the channel list, select a channel on another transponder (on the same satellite I've moved to), finally this channel it's viewed, and then go back on the channel I want to view. A little bit annoying - plus consider that if I "forgot" the dish on another satellite, my programmed recordings on Hotbird are gone... I'm using command strings obtained from Mibi's SSDiseqc 1.10 (for example, for Hotbird is E0 31 6E E0 32) an I'm using square parenthesis [E0 31 6E E0 32] I'm missing something ? P.S. Finally decent drivers from Technisat (for their Skystar HD2 PCI), after more than one year that their product it's on the market. Better than never, however I'll switch to Technotrend products as soon as I can. And I think that DVBViewer, with future Diseqc implementations, will be the killer app for PC-TV viewing. Best regards, M.F.C. Quote
rio9210 Posted February 1, 2009 Author Posted February 1, 2009 (edited) My "support.zip" in attachment (sorry for omission). Yet another bug: Recording Service (latest 1.4.7.10) doesn't save options (language, recording folder, etc) Edited February 1, 2009 by rio9210 Quote
Griga Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 There have been considerable changes concerning DiSEqC. Please take note of the following: http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=31824 http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=229320 http://www.DVBViewer.com/griga/TransEdit%20E/DiSEqC.html The issue described by you seems to be the same as here: http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=231580 Quote

Please take note of the following: The issue described by you seems to be the same as here: http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=231580 Thank you very much, problem resolved. My (correct) diseqc syntax now looks like this: [E0 31 6E E0 32] W500 [E0 31 6E E0 32]. Plus, I select in "Options -> Hardware" that box that says something like "Retune if flow loosed for more than X seconds", I gave it 1 second and everything is fine now. Any idea for Recording Service loosing settings ? Quote

rio9210 Posted February 3, 2009 Author Posted February 3, 2009 What is the use of a repeated Goto_command ? I've heard that sometimes the diseqc sequence must be sent twice. However, I eliminate one part, and now it works too. Just set to "1 sec" the option (under "Hardware") "Retune on missing stream after (sec)". After ONE YEAR waiting for decent drivers from Technisat, a (desperate) one tries everything just to get thing working... Quote
