ml 05019 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 (edited) Hello, I have AverMedia E568 card (also known as AverMedia DVB-T Express). I see it's not in the DVBViewer's supported devices list (but as there's only one AverMedia card listed there, I suppose this list hasn't been updated for a while). My card works well with DVBViewer, however, when I close the app, the LED indicator on the card remains lit, meaning, the tuner is still working. When using standard AverTV application, the LED switches off at the moment program is closed. I'd be grateful if devs can fix this, respectively, force the device to stop at the application shutdown. DVBViewer version is 4.0, AverMedia driver - v.3.10.0.32 taken from Windows Update (can send it to you if needed), and Windows versions are XP and Seven. Edited February 8, 2009 by ml 05019 Quote
ml 05019 Posted February 21, 2009 Author Posted February 21, 2009 Hello again, I've been testing DVBViewer on Windows 7 recently, and the behavior of my DVB card is just the same there - it won't stop after DVBViewer is being closed. So just give me a quick reply - do you plan to add support for more DVB devices in the next version(s) of the application? Quote
ml 05019 Posted October 4, 2009 Author Posted October 4, 2009 Found a way to resolve this bug myself - just uninstall the original application by AverTV. That means, however, that you'll need to find a codec, as AverMedia decoder will be uninstalled Quote
