quazzie Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I have set DVBViewer to save all config data to application directory. But i see that channel/scan data some other files dont get written to the installed dir (\Program Files (x86)\DVBViewer) but instead get written to Vistas virtualstore (%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files(x86)\DVBViewer). i guess this is a bug ? Lars_MQ Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 well this is a feature brought to you by MS. So don't use usermode=0 if you don't know what you are doing... You could have just used the suggested options in the setup... Quote
Tjod Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 i guess this is a bug ?No in Vista a normal started program (even if you use a Admin account) has not the right to save files in Program Files. If a program tries it vista change the real save directory and map it for this user in the directory were the application has try to save the files. In Vista you should only use usermode=1 or better usermode=2. Quote
quazzie Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 Weak! Well thanks, reinstalled and choose all users instead. Thanks. Quote
