OSD myMiniEPG vs duration

I've got a question regarding OSD - how to bring up on screen myMiniEPG.xml instead of uninformative duration.xml (why would it even show at all when I am watching TV???)? I mean if I press OSD-OK really don't see point of what duration.xml shows. So the question is how can I easily bring up MiniEPG besides switching channels?

 

 

I tried modifying skin by replacing duration.xml but it only kind of works and obviously is a hack.

Well now I see this annoying thing comes up when automatic timeshift is enabled. Any tips how to fight this?

nevermind... overcome it via com interface (not that I think that it's a good solution tho).

It is possible to change the behavior.

 

1) Close DVBViewer

2) Open setup.xml in notepad

3) search for the OSD section

<section name="OSD">

4) append the following entry in the OSD section.

	<entry name="TimeshiftEPGdisplay">1</entry>

If it already exists, change the value to "1"

I changed remote control behaviour so that pressing 'OK' in OSD brought up the miniEPG. Works for me.
