calande Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Hello, I am currently using DVBViewer Pro 4 and ProgDVB. I find that there is a problem with DVBViewer that doesn't happen with ProgDVB for the same DVB-T reception. My signal is at 80%, and still, the image freezes for a second often, and there are black horizontal stripes. The sound is not affected though. I am using the same codec in both applications (Elecard). Seeing this happens in DVBViewer and not in ProgDVB makes me conclude this is a bug or issue with DVBViewer. Thanks, Quote
Gioxy Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 (edited) Using the same video codec doesn't mean at all that the two sw are using the same graph... for example, have you tried with different Renderers? Another cause could be a bad interaction between your DVB hw driver and the green "signal strenght indicator" DVBViewer have on the status bar: click on it to change on a any of the "Time" bars to see if the freezes disappears...
