ml 05019 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Hello, got a bug since yesterday and cannot get rid of it... The situation was, I started a recording, and then my laptop's battery got empty. When I charged it, started computer again, and started DVBViewer, it froze the whole system for about a minute (I could only move the mouse, nothing else). When this lag was over, the program started working and receiving TV normally, except one thing - it's permanently recording. It is recording all the time DVBViever is running, and only stops when the disk is full. The "manual recording" button is unpressed, so I can press it and get 2 files recorded at the same time. When I try to close the application, it asks "The recording/timeshift currently active - are you sure to close?". In fact, I think I can get rid of it because I have a configuration folder backup, but I wanted to make you know about it - because there must be a way to abort any recording:) P.S. My PC is Acer Aspire 5310, mainboard is of the same name, and video adapter is Intel 945GM Express using latest driver updates. Good luck! ML Quote
ml 05019 Posted August 9, 2009 Author Posted August 9, 2009 Hello, I'm putting up a pretty old topic, the reason why I didn't reply then was - I didn't know what the recording window is and where to find it Today, I found that window (accidentally), and why accidentally and only today - is because of russian translation of DVBViewer I would never guess that the menu item with that name opens the recording window. Well, from now on, I think I'll finally be able to fix this issue (it happened several times again since March) without restoring from backup. Regards, ML Quote
