is there a way to change the file type of the server to let say mp4?

the webserver only suports vlc and wmp.

but mobile ( and maby android ) suports mp4and h264. thats way.

Mobile tv is wat i'm aming for.

uum disable emmbedded and you wil see only vlc and wmp

and i do mean file type , mp4 or 3gp

 

android woont even play its becouse it isnt a mp4 or 3gp.

i thing the payer is the file type but only wmp or vlcis there ,is there a way to add one?

you can transcode the stream on-the-fly if that's what you want.

you dont get it .

oke for me to be able to play a vid , a file extension must have mp4

so if i stream , the file must be ######.mp4

but with the server its only a vlc or wmp file.

thas wat i want to change file extension

and not the kind of muxer or codec

..renaming won't do the job. You have to transcode the content.

I am new to the DVBViewer. I try to do the transcoding/streaming with the DVBViewer with VLC. I use a VLC client to receive the video streaming over the LAN. However it seems that the network traffic will not reduce with a lower bitrate and size that is shown on the stream set up screen menu. I use the task manager to monitor the network traffic and the traffic is the same no matter how I change the options on the stream menu. Can you give a hand on this ? Thanks.
