mborkP Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Hi, I bought and setup DVBV on Vista Home 32bit system. The software works lovely with 1 card. When I put second card it is detected by the system all seems be ok. I start DVBV and it runs ok. When I scan for devices in hardware section the second card is detected and cards are numbered as 1 and 2, great. When I save and try to watch the tv, there is no pics or audio. I can't do scanning as well, no transponders detected. If I remove one of the two devices in DVBV hardware section, nothing changes, still no picture. But when I paste hardware.xml created with 1 card over newer created with 2 cards all works ok again. Can someone please help me with this issue? Thanks, Mick Quote

mborkP Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 (edited) Hi, i again, some more testing done. The program works ok with each card bat not both at the same time. 2 cards installed, seen by DVBV. card 1 normal, card 2 not in use: scanning the card gives me signal (green bar at about 3/4 lenght) but PAT yellow, PMT and SDTshow nothing. card 2 normal, card 1 not in use: scan ok, PAT,PMT and SDT ok. While watching TV it shows channel (call it A) When switching to B no picture. Rebuilding Graph brings picture on B. Switching back to A does not show picture but rebuilding Graph again show the pict on A. And so on. On shutting down windowsit take time and I got BSOD. Computer restart on its own. Could be a Vista or driver or hardware problem (does not happen with one card inserted) Next I put SkyStar2 as secondary card and install v.4.5 driver for it. Both cards scanning ok. I can get picture when using SP-400. When using SS2 I get all the data and stream info but no picture/sound. Well on occasions I get half frame and some very choppy audio. Does SS2 cards work ok with DVBV at all ? Thanks, Mick support.zip Edited March 16, 2009 by mborkP Quote
