Kevin Steggles Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Hello, I've recently downloaded v4.0, and ever since, when I run DVBViewer, it opens up ok and goes to the main screen, but then locks up and I have to ctrl-alt-delete to get rid of it. Strangely, when I tried it out over remote desktop from home last night, it appeared to work fine! I'm using a Freecom DVB-T USB stick using driver version 2.0.1.8 ConroeXFire-eSATA2 Motherbard with Intel i945G/GZ chipset Rev A2 Radeon X1950 Pro graphics card using driver version 8.591.0.0 support.zip Quote
Kevin Steggles Posted March 19, 2009 Author Posted March 19, 2009 Update - I now get sound, but no picture on starting up. I can't access any menu items, and after about 30 seconds, it completely crashes. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 try start -> programs -> DVBViewer program group -> support -> DVBViewer (Safemode) This starts the Viewer without tuning a channel. Now go to options -> directx and try another video decoder and/or renderer. Quote
Kevin Steggles Posted March 19, 2009 Author Posted March 19, 2009 That seems to have worked - a useful tip there, thank you. I've switched the MPEG2 video decoder to Arcsoft MPEG and the renderer to VMR7. It now works from normal start-up. Thanks! Quote
