Judder in full screen and using menus...

Apologies that my first post is a problem!

Installed DVBViewer and everything was fine...however the video judders a lot when in full screen mode or using the DVBViewer menus.

I have tried switching from vmr7 to vmr9 and EVR - all have some problems, with EVR worst, vmr9 second and vmr7 is best.

CPU usage is 40%-60% in all modes - not noticeably higher in any of them.

Using options->view->filters I can see I am getting lots of dropped frames in full screen mode

My computer is old so I am wondering if the gfx card is too slow?

Support file is attached

Did you try the "overlay" mode? It is by far the one that requires the less resources, so it may be a good option for you. I consistently have CPU usage of 1-2 % in overlay mode with DVBViewer.

Also you may want to try another MPEG2 decoder.

Thankyou for your prompt response...

I should have said I tried overlay as well, plus the standard mpeg2 decoder and an arcsoft one...neither made any difference.

All options resulted in the same 40%-50% cpu utilisation.

I wasnt sure if it was resource related as MCE can play TV fine in full screen...

I should also say these are standard def channels so nothing to do with HD.
