BBC HD - How to not record narrative?

There's a problem playing back BBC HD recordings using a PS3.

 

It keeps defaulting to playing the narrative track (from what I can tell this happens with a lot of clients). The problem is that the PS3 gets upset sometimes when selecting the non-narrative audio track and playback stalls. Is there any way to just stop the narrative track from being recorded?

If you select ac3 (-> channel editor) as the main channel, only ac3 will be recorded if the option (-> recorder) "all audio tracks" is unchecked.

 

There could be an issue cos BBC HD doesn't use the standard ac3 stream_id 0xBD. Maybe that could cause problems with your PS3. If that is the case, you could fix it with a tool called TS Doctor.

Hmmm. That's the way I've got it set.

 

Could it be because I'm using the recording service? I'll ask in the thread.

 

Edit:Aha! Yes, there's a separate option for that. Unfortunately because none of my browsers (IE6, IE7 or IE8) render the UI properly I hadn't notice it.
