Will it work with ATSC + Hauppauge HVR-850 USB?

I'm considering buying DVBViewer, but since there isn't a trial download, I am needing to know if it can record totally MPEG-2 compliant video from my USB Hauppauge HVR-850 ATSC tuner device. I downloaded TransEdit but it didn't seem to be able to find any channels (the channels are found on Hauppauge's WinTV, but that doesn't seem to record 100% compliant MPEG-2 files so they don't play properly on my Wester Digital WD TV HD media player). TransEdit only showed HVR-900 and HVR-950. I'm wondering if that means that the HVR-850 is not supported?
