Recording BBC HD - Recent record stopped itself

Hi,

I have never had a problem recording BBC HD and I don't seem to have the problems others report with 5.1 sound on my receiver, however, when I recently recorded Finding Nemo, the recording stopped less than a minute in.

I have not been able to repeat this issue on test recordings since.

The recorded file does not play back.

Is this some kind of DRM issue or just an unfortunate glitch?

What are your recording settings and do you use subtitles? I had an issue recently with BBC HD_dvb_subtitles.

I can't remeber what my recording settings are. It was a while ago that I set DVBViewer up.

I done some test recordings of BBC HD and ITV HD and both recorded and played back just fine.

I don't know what my subtitle settings are either, other than I am not interested in recording or using them.

Then I don't know cos my crystal ball is broken..

 

btw.

the subtitle bug still exists. During live watching only videotext subtitles show. But when selecting dvb_subtitles during playback the DVBViewer stalls.
