JoeH Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I have 2 FireDTV S2 and 1 FireDTV CI connected on an EVGA X58 motherboard, with an EVGA NVidia GeForce 9500 graphics card. Everything works correctly, except that the DVBViewer does not see my smart card (from Digital+ in Spain). I have tried with two different CAMs, including 1 which I successfully use with this smart card using EyeTV on a Mac. I am in the process of moving from the MAC to this new PC. The CAM I use on the Mac is an Aston P/N 901274 with DVB Number 001608. The other CAM is a "Universal CAM" version 1.4.1.7. In either case, the FireDTV Support Tool sees the CAM, and DVBViewer gives me the option "Show Cam" when I select a station from that card. However, when I select the option "Show CAM" I get the "Cam Interface" window, but there are no Smart Cards for me to select in the list. I know that the card is physically entered into the CAM correctly, as it works correctly in EyeTV. I am attaching the DVBViewer and FireDTV Support scans, as well as a photo of the empty "Cam Interface". I am new to all of this, so it could very well be just something very simple. Thanks in advance for your help. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Please install the MMI/CAM support for FireDTV via -> start -> programs -> DVBViewer programm group -> support -> modify and in the following setup check out the additional downloads. Quote
