CoreAVC with CUDA

Hi,

now when CoreAVC does CUDA for interlaced video I installed it and I'm really impressed with the quality of this cheap software :bye: CUDA makes my CPU to be at 30-40% which is good.

Using of this codec created a little problem thou. Whenever I use It (HD contents) I can't get to OSD menu. ESC button or remote does not call OSD menu, while all other controll is ok. Changing to CyberLink codec makes ESC and remote to work again.

Can someone who use this codec please confirm if the problem exist on his/hers machine?

I'm using latest not beta DVBV and Vista32.

Thanks,

mbo

Well most people are quite happy with ArcSoft codecs & CyberLink codecs. CoreAVC is not comparable to these far superior performers. However, CoreAVC would come out sometime with a "corporate/enterprise edition" which may perhaps match/exceed the performance of above mentioned codecs.

Hi,

the codec works wery well for me. Especially, when PDVD HD codec is not availible for me after version 9 installation. It does not show up under DVBV options :bye:

Thanks.

Hi,

yes, personally I prefere coreAVC above others. It does not work in Windows 7 RC1 so I'm forced to use PDVD8 codec for HD for now.

Cheers
