DVBViewer Pro V4.0.1.60 beta

Transedit 3.3.1.0

ATI Radeon HD 3870 Driver v8.591.0.0 Feb 25/09

Dvbworld 2104 USB Box Driver v 1.2.01 April 17/09

Windows XP Pro

I can use this device and have DiSEqC control in Transedit if I edit the vendor entry in Transedit.ini to Vendor.1=14. However whenever I do a "detect devices" I lose the vendor setting. The bigger problem is I have no DiSEqC control in DVBViewer. Is there a way for me to be able to use both Transedit and DVBViewer with DiSEqC control with this device?

In the past I have successfully used a Dvbworld driver for Windows 2000 that enables this device to work with DiSEqC control in DVBViewer in my version of windows XP. It recognizes the card as "BDA driver for WDM device", however I don't have DiSEqC control in Transedit, even if I edit the vendor setting with this driver.

To summarize, I have an older driver that lets me use DVBViewer with DiSEqC control but none in Transedit, and a newer driver that gives me DiSEqC control in Transedit(as long as I edit the vendor setting). but no DVBViewer DiSEqC control.

I would like to use the newer driver v1.2.01 April 17/09 and have DiSEqC control in both Transedit and DVBViewer. Is that possible? Any help would be appreciated.

However whenever I do a "detect devices" I lose the vendor setting.

Will be fixed in the next TransEdit release. The next DVBViewer GE release (coming soon) will handle it correctly. I've informed the DVBViewer Pro devs about the matter.

Yes I fixed it also in the Pro and the recording service.

I can report the Dvbworld 2104 USB now works with DiSEqC control in both DVBViewer 4.10 and Transedit 3.3.3.0. Thank you :bye:
