zeflash Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I've updated to the latest 4.1 client, and 1.50 recording services. I have 2 clients connecting to the recording service. There's only one DVB card available. The problem is, the first connected always has the upper hand - the second connected client will always show up what's showing up on client 1, and any tries to switch to something else from client 2 goes back to the same channel - with the message "channel redirection requested by service". I think two clients (viewers) with the same priority - I'm assuming I can't change the priority on a client - should be able to tune to something else without taking in account any temporal precedence. Or maybe I'm not aware of some way of configuring that? Quote
Lars_MQ Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 the tuning priority is set higher than 0 in the service settings of the viewer clients? Quote
zeflash Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 well that's the thing, I don't see how I can change the tuning priority on a client. Could you explain how? Quote
Tjod Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Options > Recording Service > tuning priority -> 50 on all clients. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 DVBViewer options -> recording service -> tuning priority. read here Quote
zeflash Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 Ah! I hadn't noticed the new options for the recording service! Excellent it now works perfectly! Thanks a lot! Quote
