gakke Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 When I try to view HD-channels I 9 of 10 times just get a black screen with no sound or I get mosaic-strips with soundnoise. This is making DVBViewer totally useless. I have Windows 7 RC with FireDTV. Using version 4.1 at this time. Before I installed Win7 I had Windows XP and DVBViewer 3.9. I still had the same problems, but not so much. It was usable. I have tried different codecs with no better results. Starting the CI-modul program does nothing. I'm using Dilog conax cam. Quote
ter9999 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I'm using 64-bit Windows 7 RC, using ffdshow audio filter for mp2/ac3 audio, and PDVD9 MPEG2/H.264 video filters for video and EVR for video renderer. It's very stable, no crash at all. You can try these filters and EVR. Quote
gakke Posted May 15, 2009 Author Posted May 15, 2009 I can't get Powerdvd9 codec to come up in the codec-list in 64bit. It got something to do with the direct show-filer who needs to be 32 bit. Don't know how to fix that. EVR did'nt improve anything. I have allready tried all the renderers. I used powerdvd9 in Xp and 3.9 with no less crashing then other codecs. It must be something else.
