Hi all,

I have DVBViewer 4.1.1, LG blu ray player GGC 20L, windows XP and when I try to play a blu ray I have this error:

DVB Pro Error Cannot Render Media File/ Output pin error: OX 80040216 then an italian phrase that sounds like Impossible to find the object or the name requested.

What is wrong and wath can I do to fix it?

Thanks

Ciao

Sorry, but we can't allow such hints in this forum. The tools are illegal in Germany and other countries.

OK, but I can say DVBViewer does not have a blu ray decrypter built in as this is accurate.

What exactly is causing the BluRay road block for DVBViewer? Would BluRay decryption be something that requires expensive licensing, or is it simply something the team have not yet gotten around to implementing?

Given that commercial software to play blu rays costs 50 euros+ (it is actually cheaper to buy a blu ray drive which includes software although limited to 2.0 channel sound) and DVBViewer costs 15 euro my guess is the licensing and development would be too costly so they would have to increase the price of DVBViewer significantly, or at least have a premium blu ray version as well as the standard DVBViewer, and that would be a great risk as they couldn't be sure how many people would buy it.
