Recording all channels on a Transponder?

Hi guys,

 

I'm new here and learning, so forgive me if I come across a bit lacking in the knowledge department.

 

Is it true that you can record every channel on a particular transponder?

 

For example, there is about 6 ITV regional channels broadcast on Transponder 49 I believe. So is it possible to record all 6 channels at the same time, 24/7 if need be?

 

What format would the file be saved in and what software is needed to decode?

If they aren't encrypted yes

There is nothing special to do, just make a normal timer recording in DVBViewer. If they are all on one transponder DVBViewer will record them all.

... And just remember to flag "Open whole Transponder" in the hardware options for your receiver.
