SpooZ Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 What kinnd of CPU do you have? For HD TV i would recommend a dual core Intel of atleast 2.6GHz Use windows built in decoder instead. If it's HD channels that are affected, the ultimate solution is to install Windows 7. You will get codec for both SD and HD channels. I'm running this myself on 2 HTPC's and will newer go back to slow and choppy vista again. Quote

Standard definition content is not going to be a problem with that spec- what codecs are you using (in DVBViewer>Settings>Options>DirectX/DVDoptions>MPEG2 Video decoder, H.264 decoder)? Quote
