kharder Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Hi, I have a problem with watching scrambled channels. When I try to, the screen just goes black but the meter that shows the strength of the signal changes and shows the strength, but nothing else appears. When I watch an unscrambled channel, I see all information and icons. I have tried to reinstall windows xp severel times but with the same result. Now I will try with vista to see if that changes anything. My tuner is a floppydtv, and what's funny is, that if I use the utility that comes with the tuner, everything works. What other information do you need and how do I get it for you? Thanks for your help ! Quote

McenterFreak2 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Hi again, Here is the requested files. I just done a complete reinstall of xp so there should not be anything which shouldnt be on the computer. // Kenneth I think the problem is the CAM. It should be a SMIT CAM Quote
kharder Posted July 19, 2009 Author Posted July 19, 2009 Hi, Thanks for the reply, but I don't think the cam is wrong. My provider uses viaccess and I bought my cam from them here in Denmark. One thought, could be that the strength of the signal is to low? But then again every other program is working and I can watch tv. // Kenneth Quote
kharder Posted July 24, 2009 Author Posted July 24, 2009 Now I think I solved the problem. On floppydtv, the CI program has to be started. I can't figure out if it was me who didn't think or it was the lack of information from Digital-everywhere or the programers of DVBViewer. But one thing I got from this, was an excuse for getting an new pc... Quote
