Trigger (or schedule) EPG Update from Web Interface

I would like to have updated EPG Data available on the Web Interface wenn I am away for a couple of weeks but it seems the automatic EPG Update runs only when the service is restarted.

 

I have configured my PC to switch between "On" and "Stand-by" states when being away from home.

 

Is there a way to trigger or schedule an EPG update from the Web Interface?

Create a internal task and then look in the webinterface on the page timers -> tasks.

I´ve created a EPG Update Start task and the manual execution works fine. Have two questions though:

 

1. Do I need a EPG Update Stop task in any case? Or does the EPG update stop automatically once finished?

 

2. When I try to create a "process task timer" the "task" drop-down list is empty. Any clues?

1. No you don't need it. It stop automatically.
