antdude Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 (edited) In http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=35263 ... timeshift was mentioned. Is it possible to add this for Timer for scheduled recordings too? I didn't see timeshift under its Timer Action as shown in http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/8384/dv...421timeract.gif ... Thank you in advance. Edited July 25, 2009 by antdude Quote
Devastation Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 This is only a recording if you feel the need for recording during timeshift. Its nothing you want for normal programmed recordings. This will lock you on the channel you watch/timeshift for the entire recording time. Quote

Lars_MQ Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Well a timeshift recording is tied directly to timeshift. It uses the timeshift file as "DVB streamsource". Otherwise it would obviously not work. And there is no way to change seamlessly from the filesource to a dvb device source at the "end" of the timeshift file. Quote
Devastation Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 For what exactly do you would have this option in timers? What should this do what the others dont? Quote
