haliyiz Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 1. some channels (for example 3705 LA18.3, channel editor shows it's MPEG audio format): no sound. debug.log shows DVBViewer only connected 4pins from demultiplexer, among them, none is audio. We have many workable MPEG audio filters installed and they work well on Graphedit. 2. some channels (for example 3742 daystar with AC3 audio format): has sound, debug.log (the last several lines) shows 6pins were connected, among them, there is an audio pin. Please check and confirm this bug. support.zip 1 Quote
Griga Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 You are using outdated versions of DVBViewer and particularly of the DVBViewer Filter. Please download the current version from the members area. Quote

Griga Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 just installed version 4.0, problem keeps the same. You are still far behind. The current versions are DVBViewer Pro 4.2.1 and DVBViewer Filter 3.4.3. Seems you are not able to access them in the members area, which would mean, you don't have purchased DVBViewer Pro and you are using it illegaly. No support in this case, of course. If you are one of those people who think saving 15 Euro by using an illegal copy is clever: Actually it's very stupid because you are excluding yourself from many things provided by a very creative community. If you are not: Try the versions mentioned above, and we'll see... Quote
Youri Andropov Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Hello, I'm using DVBViewer Terratec edition (with Cinergy T PCIe dual), and I'm experiencing the same problem : some HD channels have no sound. Can I access newer filters ? Quote
QBox User Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 HD channels often use different codecs to SD ones. AC3 is common, but AAC is also used in some countries. The status bar or Channel Editor will tell you in DVBViewer Pro - the Terratec version may be different. . You probably need to download and select an AC3 decoder. Quote
