ml 05019 Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Hello, I've updated recently to DVBViewer version 4.2.1 from 4.1.1 in the previous versions, there was a recording behaviour that you can start and stop the recording with a single press of the ® key on the keyboard. There also was a menu with recording options available by clicking the record button with mouse while recording. Now, in version 4.2.1, the menu pops out both by a mouse click, and by pressing R on a keyboard - as it's an on-screen menu (the author would probably know the best what I'm talking about). the question is - how do I disable that new on-screen menu and be able to stop the recording with a single press of a key? I guess some people may find this new menu useful when they don't use the mouse, but I'd like to have a setting to disable it, because if I can't stop the recording immediately, the recordings are longer, and it consumes my hard disk space with the videos I don't need. So, is there such a setting, or should we wait for it in a future versions? Thanks in advance. Regards, ML (Until this happens, I've rolled back to version 4.1.1 for now) Quote
ml 05019 Posted August 9, 2009 Author Posted August 9, 2009 (edited) Maybe I will someday, but still I'll have to press two buttons to stop the recording, not one as before and one more thing: the 2nd item in that menu is "play" and it plays the recorded file while it's still recording in the background. Maybe you could duplicate this item - make another command to "stop recording and play"? Edited August 9, 2009 by ml 05019 Quote
