How to install osd skin

Hi everyone!

I downloaded and tried several osd skins from customer area, but I can't apply them. I put the osd folder C<program files<DVBViewer<osdskins next to the default folder. I start DVBViewer options<osdskin and see my new osd skin and choose it and apply, but I only see the same skin. Default skin.

I use DVBViewer 4.2.1.0

check if in the OSDSkinfolder is directly a image-folder and .xml files.

Some Skins are in a mainfolder that will have the skinfolder.

 

eg. -DVBViewer\OSDSkins\SkinXY\dialogOK.xml

is correct

DVBViewer\OSDSkins\SkinXY\SkinXY\dialogOK.xml

is wrong.

I uninstalled 4.2.1.0 and installed 4.1.1. Everything seems normal, but osd doesn't change.

Pleas post a support.zip DVBViewer 4.2.1

Ok, but 4.1.1 if neded ı can install 4.2.1.0 again

If you have a problem in 4.2.1 I can may be see something in the support.zip from 4.2.1

Sorry no real idea. There is nothing in the log files and the configuration looks OK.

 

Only one thing if you have a second Vista user, login as the other user and check if the Skin is there in the DVBViewer folder

 

If not check if there is a DVBViewer folder in.

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files

Yes, it is in the DVBViewer folder. But there is no C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\ VirtualStore\Program Files
