encoding error for recording service (1.5.0.31)

After installed recording service 1.5.0.31, and opened the web server interface, I found that the encoding is corrupted.

 

I have used chinese as EPG language, and tried to use english / chinese as the system language, but both fails. I tried to use utf-8 setting in browser, and the characters appear normal then.

 

And finally I updated the rc_english.lng, and changed lngCharset from "ISO-8859-1" into "utf8", and that fixed the problem.

 

I guess the cause of problem is that "utf8" is actually used for the resource file (of chinese menus), but the display language is still set to "ISO-0059-1" for english menu, and "big-5 for" chinese menu.

 

I guess, using "utf8" for english language should be no harm after all?
