Benarty Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) If I perform a blind scanb in steps of 5Mhz, then DVBViewer finds around 5500 channels on Astra. I was curious so a 1Mhz step blindscan is running now , sure very sloooow but: at 24% scan the 5000 channels passed. Blindscan reveals also many duplicated channelsso channel pop up a few times , a bit shifted in frequency. So how are channels stored on the astra satellietes so that blind scan reveals much more channels, but all of these are duplicates? Edited August 22, 2009 by Benarty Quote
Griga Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 http://www.DVBViewer.com/griga/TransEdit%2....html#BlindScan Please note that the same transponder may be detected several times on close-by frequencies, depending on the specified frequency step size and the catch range of your DVB device. Quote
