After update V4.0 > V4.2.1 no more pay-tv descramble

After updating to V4.2.1 all pay-tv channels no longer get discrambled.

CAM menu shows just fine, EPG shows up. but no screen/audio.

Also in the menu status bar it shows the channel name with a star(no key found?).

So i installed V4.0 back and it descrambles just fine.

All FTA channels work fine in both versions.

No, exactly the same problem. FTA works fine. no paytv

I have some additional information I hope this would be of any help to find out where the problem is.

I have a astoncrypt V1.05 with a canaldigital smartcard.

When I watch FTA channels every thing works like expected, however when I try to view a canal witch is encrypted and I don’t have the right to watch it; it pop’s up a message saying “no right to watch this program”. When I want to watch a channel from canaldigitaal it does not say “no right to watch this program” it just pops-up the mini EPG like usual with the EPG showing. The screen stays black and no sound. When I go to the properties of the filter called “DVB Source” it says “video state: no data / connected”.

Some news; canaldigitaal send me a new smartcard. The alphacript CI module did not handle the new smartcard so i orderd a new CI module: mediaguard this is a signed module for canaldigitaal. Installed the new module and i got picture with the older version V4.0. because i had a hardware change i agian tryed the new V4.2.1 and guess it worked! well i thought so... most channels work but some channels like "discovery" it says "no right to watch this progamm". When i downgrade to V4.0 it does decrypt any idea's ?
