split from DVBviewer closes with no message in Windows 7

Hi,

 

I've tried all the steps shown above, currently running Windows 7 RTM, and my DVBViewer closes after about 2 seconds.

 

Running with a 8300 Nvidia onboard graphics chip, and using 4.2.1 installed as Run as Administrator.

 

Are we any further forward with a resolution?

If there is no message "Error in Userdata! Please install the DVBViewer with the correct data!" it is not a problem with the copy protection.

 

I think it is a codec problem.

Hi,

 

there are no error messages shown on screen - it just closes.

 

The version of DVBViewer that is provided with the Digital everywhere tuner works fine, however I need to try and use DVBViewer to link to my MCE setup.

Further details from my setup - this shutdown problem is only happening when DVBLink for DVBViewer has been installed - uninstalling this resolves the problem - but there seems to be some incompatibilities between the 2 programs currently - has anyone got a workaround for this?
